Wichita Kansas Tornado Warning is Severe

A severe thunderstorm has been issued for Wichita Kansas until tonight until10:30pm. It is likely that a tornado is on the ground now and is likely due to be filled with heavy winds and severe damaging winds.
Fox news has reported that a severe tornado is currently in the area and has touched down in the area..all residents in the Wichita Kansas area should be seeking shelter in either a basement or in a storm shelter.
For the first time in over 50 years, a city has been targetted for a tornado a day in advance…while a tornado has been predicted for this area…the amount of damaging winds can not fully be predicted.
The National Weather Service has suggested that cars and houses will sustain severe damage and the residents are warned to seek shelter imediately so as to prevent injury. Electrical wires are reported to be down and many areas are believed to be already hit by this severe storm.
Hastings Kansas is currently experiencing as many as 6 types of tornadic storm cells. It is believed to be one of the worst storm systems in over 50 years.

Fire in Clarkson Valley Damages Home

A fire in Clarkson Valley MO. was very damaging and reportedly nearly injured the lives of the teenage family. The house fire damaged the rear of the home and did dramatic damage to the home. The rear roof of the Clarkson Valley Home was partially damaged.
Everyone appeared allright, witnesses said. The responding fire department, Monarch Fire Department, indicated the everyone was safe. The house was located in the 16400 block of Quiet Creek Court.
Roger Herin was the the acting fire marshal on the responding fire department. The Monarch Fire Department was assisted by Metro West Fire Department.

State Of Missouri Comforts Victims of Joplin Tornado

Joplin, MO. The city of Joplin this moring woke up to another day of tornado recovery and rescue. Volunteer workers, churches, state officials, and the Red Cross awoke at sunlight to the second day of the devistation of the worst tornado in the United States in 50 years.
The Joplin Tornado victims have been comforted with the help of neighbors who offered their homes as shelter. The Red Cross has set up locations of some of the area churches and can be contacted via their website. with all of the st louis roofing claims that are pending many people will tell you that the process can be difficult…but here lies the answers for you.
have you been a victim of the maryland heights good friday tornadoes or maybe the bridgeton mo tornadoe storms and you fell overwhelmed….well lets review the situation for you.
The first question is do you have a claim. Can you see visible damage or do you have a reason to believe that your home is damaged. Was there any hail in some of the storms in the past weeks. Or, saving the obviouse for last…is any of your home’s components not performing recently…in other words are the gutters not draining, the roof leaking, etc..
If any of these are true…get a free roof inspection from a reputable roofing company. Check for hail and wind damage. If the roofing company decides that you have sustained damage then do the following if it is enough to warrant repair over the deductible amount.
1. CAll you insurance company. You should get a claim number that will be assigned to your home
2 Select your roofing company or siding company and get them involved with your st louis insurance adjuster. At the first meeting, the adjuster should be able to give you an check to get the work started.
3. The check will be endorsed to both you and your mortgage holder and may not be able to cashed until that holder of the mortgage signs it as well.
4. Get the work started..( make sure it is a reputable company with good references)
5. Make sure to collect all lien waivers and get a final release from the contractor

Avondale Meadows Subdivision in New Melle Missouri Rebuilds from tornado

Many homeowners are replacing roofs in New Melle this week and some are just finding out the cost of their roof replacement in New Melle as they return home from their family’s Easter vacation.
When they left everything was in place and wired down tight. Only to return to see that mother nature has left their homes in need of repair and assistance.
The New Melle tornado touched down on Friday a little after 5:30pm and had winds of over 80 miles per hour. Hurling trees, campers, and ripping roofing shingles and siding away from many homes. Some houses experienced light structural damage and as a result had to be completely vacated.
“The damage total for the area has still not been totalled,” Steve Miles a State Farm Insurance Representative stated Sunday morning.

In the wake of friday’s storm, most of the world is aware of the news from the st. louis lambert airport tornado, the tornado in new melle, the tornado bridgeton and the horrible loss there- but many people are iver looking the not unconsequential damage done by the storm in ofallon, wentzville mo, lake st louis, granite city, and the city of weldon springts roofs.
There was baseball size hail in ofallon and the surrounding dardenne prairie area.
The final amount of damage is not in either…because many of the dardenne prairie roofing contractors have not had a chance to help the hail damaged homes of the area yet. The next week should prove to show the real financial damage to the ofallon mo roofing- ofallon mo siding- ofallon mo gutter damage.

Wow, thats all that could be said about the ofallon mo hail storm an hour ago, Peter Frost of Ofallon MO reported. “The wind, golf ball sized hail that blasted the city of Ofallon Storm center did so much terrrible damage that it was unbelievable.
Their was many commercial ofallon roofs damaged and their were many ofallon home roofs damaged, office Cant reported and as a result many new roofs in Ofallon tomorrow.
